In 1963 Stan Lee through Marvel Comics brought us our favorite mutations in The X-Men. If a movie accompanied the first volumes of story and characters here's who I would cast.

Guardians Of The Galaxy (1990's Casting Call)

Its 1999............ We are recasting the first two Guardians of the galaxy movies. Using actors of the time here is my late 90s cast of this marvel cinematic space comedy.

The Hateful Eight (1995 Re-Cast)

Eight hateful mammajammas are at odds during the most brutal of blizzards. This mystery by Quentin Tarantino is a fun group of bitter characters. Hate filled survivors who could be cast in any era. So I pick the 1990's this time. Give it back to Tarantino for direction at an earlier stage, ala Jackie Brown era.

The Boys (2008 Casting Call)

The Boys. This is a circa 2008 casting of said title. If you're a fan of the show streaming in amazon prime just imagine these actors filling these characters shoes. Vote YES if you dig the picks.

Reservoir Dogs (1977 Casting Call)

I always looked a this movie as a play. Its timeless and probably the best heist gone wrong movie of all time while not even seeing the job itself. So........ While stuck in the middle with you I take this film and recast it in the late 70's. Who better than these players and who more qualified than Martin Scorsese to direct. Sidney Lumet is also a top choice. I digress .... *You can add suggestions but if they are lame like a virgin I will delete them. You miscast this in a dream you better wake up and apologize.

Super Mario Bros. (1993 Re-Casting call)

This movie should have been half way decent but it was complete trash. This is my recasting of the 90s bomb Super Mario Bros.

Escape From New York (2021)

Usually these kinds of classics being remotely mentioned in the same sentence as the word remake makes my blood boil. Most of these redo's and reboots feel as if the makers aren't fans or have no idea what they are working with. Otherwise how come so many fall short of being heralded as a decent movie? I feel if its merited to remake it and you can cast it right ...it can great. Forgive my sacrilege. Here is my true blue remake casting call for 2021. The only reason I see fit to remake is that Kurt Russell has a son whom can do it some justice. Keeping it in the Russell name and have a Robert Rodriguez directing in actual New York locations...this would surely do the original justice. * Bring back the deleted bank heist intro
