Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman

On May 17, 1966, Jonathan and Martha Kent witness the crash-landing of a small spaceship in Shuster's Field outside of Smallville, Kansas. When they investigate, they discover the baby Kal-El and decide to raise him as their own, naming him Clark Jerome Kent. Throughout the series, Clark proudly states his mother made his Superman costume for him. Clark often consults his parents either by telephone or in person, after impromptu Superman flights to Smallville, about personal and moral concerns and dilemmas. The series opens twenty-seven years later, on the day Clark moves to Metropolis after leaving his position as a newspaper editor of Smallville Press and interviews for a job at the Daily Planet under editor Perry White. Clark becomes acquainted with photographer Jimmy Olsen and gossip columnist Cat Grant. Soon after being hired, Clark is partnered with star reporter Lois Lane. Clark falls in love with Lois at first sight. When Superman saves Lois from a space shuttle disaster, she instantly becomes infatuated with Clark's alter-ego, and names him Superman.

Tron: Legacy

In 1989, Kevin Flynn, the software engineer and CEO of ENCOM International, mysteriously disappears four years after the death of his wife Jordan. Twenty years later, his son, Sam, now ENCOM's primary shareholder, takes little interest in the company beyond playing an annual practical joke on the board of directors. Sam is visited by his father's friend, ENCOM executive Alan Bradley, urging Sam to investigate a message originating from Flynn's abandoned arcade. There, Sam unintentionally teleports himself to the Grid, a virtual reality created by his father.

Tron

Kevin Flynn is a software engineer formerly employed by ENCOM, having been fired by Ed Dillinger who stole several video games designed by Flynn to gain a series of promotions. Flynn attempts to obtain evidence of Dillinger's action, but is prevented by the Master Control Program (MCP), an artificial intelligence that controls the ENCOM mainframe and seeks control over other mainframes too. Dillinger attempts to stop the MCP after it reveals its intentions to hack into and gain control of the Pentagon and Kremlin, but he is blackmailed by the MCP, which threatens to reveal to the media of his plagiarism of Flynn's games, which are hugely successful. Visited by ENCOM employees Alan Bradley and Lora Baines who warn him that Dillinger knows about his hacking attempts and has tightened security, Flynn persuades them to admit him into ENCOM's buildings. There, he forges a higher security clearance for Bradley's program "Tron", which would monitor communications between the MCP and the outside world; whereupon the MCP uses an experimental laser to transfer Flynn into the ENCOM mainframe.

Clary Fray just wishes that her life would go back to normal. But what's normal when you're a demon-slaying Shadowhunter, your mother is in a magically induced coma, and you can suddenly see Downworlders like werewolves, vampires and faeries? Kuzca is the self-centered teenaged emperess of the Incan empire brought up by her head advisor Yzmo. One day, she summons Pache, the headwoman of a nearby village, to inform her that she is building her enormous summer home, Kuzcatopia, on the site of Pache's house. Pache attempts to protest, and is dismissed. She also callously fires her ancient, power-hungry advisor Yzmo for attempting to run the kingdom while she is preoccupied, infuriating him. He, along with his easily-distracted assistant Kank then attempt to poison Kuzca so that he can take full and permanent control of the empire.

Tara

In the late 1880s off the coast of Africa, a young couple and their infant son escape a burning ship and land on the unexplored rainforests of Africa, where they craft themselves a large treehouse in which to live using salvaged ship parts in order to survive. Meanwhile, a gorilla couple named Kerchaka and Kal are traveling with the rest of their group when their infant son is killed and eaten by a leopard named Sabora. The next day, the still-heartbroken Kal hears a distant child's cry and, following it, stumbles upon the treehouse. He enters the treehouse to find it trashed, and blood covered paw prints (as well as the corpses of the couple) on the floor. Kal rescues the baby from a still-hungry Sabora and returns with it to the rest of the group, but Kerchaka despises the girl for her appearance. Nevertheless, Kal decides to raise the girl as his own, naming her Tara.
