What if...?
Chapter 1: What if Captain America became President?

Huntik
Long before our time, humanity fought against an evil of unimaginable power. The darkness was broken only by the Seekers, humans able to invoke legendary creatures, the Titans, into their own plane of existence. With the Titans executing their every order, the first Seekers fought against the dark forces of the underworld and against themselves. Centuries went by, and one by one, the Titans were hidden; some were buried following grueling battles, while others were merely forgotten as time passed. The magical and powerful creatures lie hidden and dormant in the most remote parts of the universe, waiting to be awoken by a new group of Seekers. After centuries passed, the Seekers divided themselves into groups in order to find traces and clues of past and extinct populations in order to reveal the mystery of the Titans. One such division, the Huntik Foundation, travels in search of these answers - from the tip of South America to Europe; from North America to the African terrains. Only the most worthy of Seekers are able to invoke the Titans and benefit from their unbelievable powers. But there are those who plot in the shadows: the secretive Organization, led by the Professor, is another division of Seekers and wants to possess the Titans' powers for their own evil plans.

American Psycho
In 2017, Patrick Bateman, a young and wealthy New York City investment banker, spends most of his time dining at popular restaurants while keeping up appearances for his fiancée Evelyn Williams as well as his circle of wealthy associates, most of whom he hates. At a business meeting, Bateman and his associates flaunt their business cards, obsessing over their designs. Enraged by the superiority of his colleague Paul Allen's card, Bateman finds a homeless man and his dog in an alley at night and kills them. Bateman and Allen, who mistakes Bateman for another co-worker, make plans for dinner after a Christmas party. Bateman resents Allen for his affluent lifestyle and ability to obtain reservations at Dorsia, a highly exclusive restaurant which Bateman cannot get into. He gets Allen drunk, lures him to his apartment and kills him with an axe while listening to Huey Lewis and the News and lecturing Allen on the merits of the band. Bateman disposes of the body and goes into Allen's apartment to leave a message on his answering machine claiming that Allen has gone to London.

Guardians of the Galaxy
The Guardians of the Galaxy have been idealized by Peter Quill, the legendary Star-Lord, as a pro-active team to protect the cosmos. Quill idealized the team in light of two subsequent crisis that had forced independent heroes to improvise a resistance when the galaxy was threatened, namely the incursion of the Annihilation Wave and the conquest of the Kree Empire by the Phalanx. The Guardians of the Galaxy usually transit between being a sanctioned police force in space or a group of outlawed mercenaries. By expecting no one else would do their heroic work, their goal is to protect innocent civilizations from being destroyed or enslaved by opportunistic invaders.

Fantastic Four
The Fantastic Four (FF) are a team of adventurers who accidentally received powers from cosmic radiation during a space trip on the Marvel-1. They are Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic), Reed's girlfriend Sue Storm (the Invisible Girl, later Woman), Susan's brother Johnny Storm (the Human Torch), and their good friend Ben Grimm (the Thing). Throughout the years, the group evolved with Reed and Sue getting married, having their kids Franklin and Valeria, and members coming and going, but the original four are still the face of the FF. Since gaining their powers, the group has stuck together through many adventures, exploring new frontiers of the universe, and venturing into other dimensions such as the bewildering Negative Zone. When needed, the FF also serves as protectors, thwarting dastardly villains like their nemesis Doctor Doom, and defending Earth from otherworldly threats, most famously Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds. The FF temporarily disbanded when the Richards family set off to rebuild the Multiverse after its collapse. They have since returned, and although an incident with the Baxter Building caused the public to turn on the FF, they remain some of their world's greatest heroes.

X-Men
The X-Men are a superhero group created by Professor Charles Xavier as a response to the emergence of naturally occurring superhumans known as mutants among the baseline human society. Dedicated to promoting a dream of peaceful coexistence between mutants and humans, Xavier trained his X-Men in the use of their mutant powers at the Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, forging them into defenders of a world that hates and fears them. Over the years, the heroes of mutantkind found their mission constantly endangered by both reactionary humans and fanatic mutants. Currently, the X-Men have rebranded themselves as a super hero team who act for the people of Krakoa.
