Single White Female

Having recently split from fiancé Sam Rawson, Allison Jones welcomes new roommate Hedra Carlson. The young women quickly form a bond, but as Allison starts to rethink her engagement, Hedra grows jealous and hostile. As Allison learns new details about her roommate's life, Hedra gets violent in her efforts to get Sam out of the picture. With Hedra turning more menacing by the minute, Allison finally understands what she's up against.

Avalon

A remake that is a bit truer to the source material apart from aging the characters up. It would take place in college rather than high school. I think it would work best as a limited series.

Showgirls

This could follow the movie for the first season and use new, original characters for subsequent seasons.

The Craft (TV show remake)

Sarah Bailey, a sixteen year old troubled teenager with a painful past and a history of suicidal tendencies and hallucinations, moves to L.A. with her father and stepmother to start a new life - and is enrolled into a Catholic school. It is at school that she comes into contact with three unlikely friends, Nancy, Bonnie and Rochelle, all who are socially outcast with various problems in their lives that they wish they could fix. Nancy, Bonnie and Rochelle dabble in occult practices, and when they notice Sarah has the powers of a natural witch, they talk her into joining their coven. When Sarah joins, they soon realize that with a fourth witch in the coven they can begin to cast spells they couldn't before, and begin to amend all the things wrong in their lives - but like everything else in life - things come with a price.

Poison Ivy (2020s Remake)

Dejected about her relationship with her father, Darryl, a teen girl, Sylvie Cooper , grows closer to a fiery fellow student named Ivy. But as much as Sylvie craves Ivy's wildness, Ivy, in turn, is attracted to Sylvie's comfortable home life. Ivy seduces Darryl in an attempt to have that life for herself, and also takes steps to kill Sylvie's mother, Georgie, who is seriously ill, making it look like Sylvie is the guilty one. Rating: R

Starman (2020s Remake)

Starman tells the story of a non-corporeal alien who has come to Earth and cloned a human body in response to the invitation found on the gold phonograph record installed on the Voyager 2 space probe.

Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (Remake)

Not a great movie, but a fun watch. A remake might be interesting.

The Rocketeer (Limited Series Remake)

Set in 1938 Los Angeles, California, The Rocketeer tells the story of stunt pilot, Cliff Secord, who discovers a hidden rocket pack that he thereafter uses to fly without the need of an aircraft. His heroic deeds soon attract the attention of Howard Hughes and the FBI, who are hunting for the missing rocket pack, as well as the Nazi operatives that stole it from Hughes.

Splash (2020s Remake)

Its plot involves a young man who falls in love with a mysterious woman who is secretly a mermaid.

Charmed (Genderswap Edition)

A for fun cast genderswap. Names changed for obvious reasons.

Warlock (Remake of the 1989 Film)

I think the series would be a remake of just the 1989 film, disregarding all the following sequels. It would still follow the 17th century witch hunter, Giles Redferne hunting down the titular warlock (although the warlock would get a name and more of a backstory). Kassandra would still be in the story as well. I think it could still end in the same way, or be rewritten to have Giles stay in the future if they wanted to do a second season.

Harlem Nights (2023)

The film tells the story of "Sugar" Ray and Vernest "Quick" Brown as a team running a nightclub in the late 1930s in Harlem while contending with gangsters and corrupt police officials.

A young dancer inspires students at a Latin dance studio with his passion and spontaneity. While there, he meets and falls for a beautiful professional dancer, but she fights her attraction towards him in order to focus on her dancing....

The 10th Kingdom (Genderswapped)

All characters are genderswapped apart from the fairy tale princess characters. Character names changed as needed. A mother and son are caught in a parallel universe where the great Queens Snow White, Cinderella and Riding Hood III have had their kingdoms fragmented by warring trolls, giants and goblins.

Drop Dead Fred (2020s Casting)

An unhappy housewife gets a lift from the return of her imaginary childhood friend, Drop Dead Fred.

If the Shoe Fits

The original film is a b movie, probably nothing that would offend by being remade. I think it could be a silly rom com. Synopsis of original film: In Paris, Kelly Carter is trying to develop her career as a shoe designer. Lost in Paris, Wanda the fairy tries very hard to get directions on a crowded boulevard and nobody gives her attention but the sensible Kelly. Kelly goes to meet with famous fashion designer Francesco Salvitore, but is late for the appointment with him, and is turned away. Wanda meets Kelly again, and gives her advice, trying to instill confidence in her and help her succeed. Using a pretense, Wanda knocks on the door of Salvitore, who is floundering and looking for a 'new face' for his fashion house. She subtly suggests that he host a great ball at his residence, insisting that everything he needs is closer than he thinks. Wanda then imparts magical power to a pair of shoes Kelly has designed, that transform her into a stunning beauty. Attending the ball with friends, she attracts the attention of all the guests, and the smitten Salvitore; she is overwhelmed and flees, but he eventually tracks her down, and proclaims her his new diva.
