Golden swallow
A poor scholar named Lo Chih-Chiu rescues a swallow from three mischievous boys and frees it. The swallow transforms into a mystical female elf named Hsiao-Hseuh, who returns the good deed by rescuing Chih-Chiu from ruthless warlords. Hsiao-Hseuh confronts Chih-Chiu and reveals she is a servant of an evil witch queen that feeds on human blood. When the witch discovers Hsiao-Hseuh and Chih-Chiu's relationship, she nearly kills him, but spares his life on the condition that Hsiao-Hseuh and Chih-Chiu separate. However, shortly after the separation, Hsiao-Hseuh escapes the witch's lair and reunites with Chih-Chiu, albeit in disguise to hide her identity.

Devil's Vendetta
The devil interrupts a Buddhist prayer session. While under a hypnotic trance, one of the priests slices open his chest and pulls out his pulsing heart. The devil devours it, whereupon he transforms into a gorgeous demoness. Heavenly rays suck him/her into the afterlife, where she opts to become a vampire and return to earth. Two rival Taoist schools - one all-female, the other one all-male - decide to join forces to fight the demon. One of the female fighters becomes aware that she's the daughter of the demon and must to loose her virginity to avoid transforming into a vampire herself.

Ga Yat Lung is a young warrior who meets and falls in love with Mung Suet, the day of her sacrifice to the Ghost King. Without her sacrifice all those living in the local village will be destroyed. Ga Yat Lung is helped by Ching, a Fox Demon, to attempt to save Mung Suet and her people.

Shih Erh and his master Wu Men-Chu house and attempt to protect Tsui from the demons and spirits that lurk nearby; however, Tsui encounters a benevolent female ghost named Mo Chiu , who is confined to the hands of the wicked King Ghost . As Tsui falls in love with Mo Chiu, he paints a portrait of her, which the spirit uses to conceal herself from the King Ghost's clutches.

White snake
The story begins with two sisters in a traditional Chinese bath, where they both speak of immortality. It then shows that same mysterious woman (named Blanca) who is on a mission to assassinate the general. However, she is caught and is involved in a battle which results in her submerging into water and losing her memories. She is rescued by a man, Xuan/Xu Xian, who takes her to his home, Snake Catcher village, where the villagers catch snakes for the general, as snakes were thought to aid in immortality. Reluctant at first, Blanca is skeptical about Xuan. However, after spending some time with him (and with the reveal that she has magic powers) she starts to fall for him. They find a jade hair pin which brings back some memories when it is then revealed, that the hairpin too is magical. Xuan reads the inscription, which indicates it was made at "special jade workshop". He and Blanca go journey there together.

Legend of deification
Jiang Ziya, a top commander in the divine army of the Kunlun Sect, is victorious in the battle between the Heavenly powers and the Shang dynasty. Before he can ascend to his new position among the Gods, he is ordered to execute the Nine-Tailed Fox Demon who threatens the mortals' very existence. But when the Fox Demon shows him the secret to her power, an innocent human girl, he is unable to complete his task resulting in his banishment to the mortal realm forever.
