Armored Fleet Dairugger XV (1982)

The Rugger Team is an exploration, planetary survey, and defensive force. Planet Earth is in a time of prosperity. The president of the Galaxy Garrison launches a mission to explore the galaxy and build a complete map of the stars. Soon after commencing the mission, the Rugger Team and their starship, the Rugger Guard, are attacked by the Galveston Empire. Dairugger, the super robot, must defend the Rugger Guard and its fleet as they attempt to continue their mission. When Galveston repeatedly refuses to accept peaceful coexistence, their mission turns to finding the Galveston homeworld, liberating its people from their despotic Emperor, and helping them find a new planet before their world collapses.

The Twin Engines

He ordered one goods engine from Scotland and was surprised to receive two on the run from the scrapper's torch! They had both lost their numbers and no one knew which was which. Dork Diaries 4: Tales from a Not-So-Graceful Ice Princess

Nikki Maxwell isn’t at all surprised to find out that her crush Brandon volunteers at a local animal shelter. He’s such a sweet guy—of course he wants to help those adorable puppies! Then Brandon tells her that the shelter is in danger of closing, and Nikki knows she can’t let that happen. The Epic of Snow White

Searching for her Prince James of Chaedian - a neighboring kingdom to warn him of the danger, Snow White is temporarily put to sleep until her James wakes her up with a kiss. But the curse of the Mirror orders Ravella to take James captive and only Snow White can lead an army to save all of medieval Germany...

Super Electromagnetic Machine Voltes V (1977)

From out of nowhere, a mysterious alien race known as the Boazan Forces has invaded the Earth. A group of individuals specially trained to handle this kind of situation has been unleashed. Kenichi, Ippei, Daijiro, Hiyoshi & Megumi are the pilots of the Super Electromagnetic Machine Voltes V (5), Earth's defense against the Boazan and their terrible Beast Warriors. The plot thickens as the Go Brothers discover their true heritage and the truth behind their father's disappearance. Conflicts and mixed emotions hinder the Go Brothers at times but due to their unwavering desire to find their dad, they must go to the place where it all started. With the help of the rebels based on Earth and on the aliens' homeworld, the Voltes Team has another mission: remove the tyrant Zu Zambajil and liberate the people of Boazan. Dork Diaries 3: Tales from a Not-So-Talented Pop Star

Beast King GoLion (1981)

GoLion's story is set in the then-future year of 1999, when the planet Altea is subdued and enslaved by the Galra Empire. Meanwhile, five space pilots (Akira Kogane, Takashi Shirogane, Isamu Kurogane, Tsuyoshi Seidou and Hiroshi Suzuichi) return to Earth from their latest space exploration, only to find the planet annihilated by an apocalyptic, thermonuclear war, World War III. Suddenly, the explorers are ambushed, captured and enslaved by the visiting Galra Empire, and then, they are forced to fight for their lives in Emperor Daibazaal's arena. The young pilots escape and eventually land on the planet Altea, where they discover the secret of the mighty sentient robot GoLion, the only weapon powerful enough to defeat Emperor Daibazaal's forces. Thousands of years ago, GoLion was an arrogant robot who, after defeating several Beastmen, tried to challenge the goddess of the universe into battle, but failed. For GoLion's hubris, the goddess taught him humility by separating him into five pieces in the form of five lion robots that sailed through space and crash-landed on Altea, to lay in wait for those who would one day reawaken him to fight evil once again. The Princess of Altea, Fala, joins four of them so they can become the new pilots of GoLion and help her start fighting back against the Empire.

Queen of the Skies

After the Boeing 797-X prototype (portrayed on screen by an Airbus A340-300) flying as Atlantic and Pacific Airlines (A&P) 713 takes off from Denver, Colorado bound for Sydney, Australia with the dignitaries and media people covering the Miss USA/Universe contestants enjoying the maiden flight; chapters of the Westboro Baptist Church, the Ku Klux Klan and the Knights of the Aryan Nations (Identity Evropa) all under the umbrella term "Hammerskins" take everybody on board hostage and incapacitate the flight crew. Realizing their captors are planning an attack on Sydney, the passengers put aside their differences and band together to dispose of their tormentors. Without the flight crew and with a major Pacific storm approaching, the third-place prospective contestant who has flown her own private jets tries to land the plane safely in Sydney. The question is can they make it in time for some other passengers aboard including a sick little girl.

Duck and the Diesel Engine

Dork Diaries 2: Tales from a Not-So-Popular Party Girl

Nikki Maxwell is hoping her crush, Brandon Roberts, will ask her to the Halloween dance. But, she is heartbroken when she overhears her nemesis, MacKenzie Hollister, bragging that she and Brandon are going to the dance together. Having nothing better to do on the night of the dance, Nikki reluctantly agrees to serve on the dance clean-up committee with her best friends, Chloe and Zoey, as well as help out at a ballet class Halloween party for her little sister, Brianna. Nikki is shocked when Brandon asks her to the dance and realizes that MacKenzie was lying. However, in spite of her prior commitments, Nikki agrees to go with him and ends up spending the evening juggling 3 events at the same time with hilarious results.

Battlestar Galactica: Volume I - An Exodus Begins

Mirror's Edge

Set in a near-future waterfront city like Chicago or Seattle - in a conformist nanny/police-state, Faith Connors is an illegal courier or "runner", whose job it is to hand-deliver messages and data across the rooftops and skyways to avoid ubiquitous government monitoring of movement and communications. After making a few deliveries, private security firm Pirandello Kruger and Silvine contracts a secret mole to kill a family friend. The story follows Faith in her struggle to free her unjustly-imprisoned sister, accused of murdering a friend of their family - Mayoral Candidate Robert Pope. While running clients' illegal messages, she gets caught up in events which lead to her being endlessly pursued by the totalitarian government herself. Mercury, Faith's trainer/mentor, acts as her guide to outwit, outrun, and overcome the sinister agents out to eliminate her.

Dork Diaries: Tales from a Not-So-Fabulous Life

14-year-old Nikki Maxwell is not happy when her father arranges a scholarship for her to attend a private middle school called Westchester Country Day as part of the contract for his bug extermination services. Nikki does not fit in with the wealthy, designer clad students and spends most of her time alone writing in her diary. To make matters worse, she has a locker right next to the school's most popular girl, MacKenzie Hollister. MacKenzie labels Nikki as a “Dork” and goes out of her way to make Nikki’s life miserable. It appears the new school may work out when Nikki befriends two other dorky girls, Chloe and Zoey. But, things take a turn for the worse when Nikki enters the school art show and discovers her main competition is her enemy, MacKenzie, who will stop at nothing to win.

Percy the Small Engine

Metroid: Genesis

Born on the mining world of Kappa II-Lambda, young Samus Aran is orphaned when her parents and friends are killed by raiding Space Pirates led by Ridley in an attack that destroys the planet. Found and rescued by the bird-like race called the Chozo, Samus is infused with Chozo DNA to give her resistance to foreign environments. After having been drummed out of the Galactic Federation's academy due to disagreements with sadistic Commander Adam Malkovich, Samus takes a job as a freelance bounty hunter. When it seems as though she is done with the Federation, she is called to investigate the transport of Metroid creatures to Planet Zebes. Because of her superior skills and strong sense of justice, Samus chooses to take the Federation's offer and discover what would the Space Pirates want with the potentially dangerous Metroids. There she finds that Mother Brain, Ridley and one of their allies Kraid are leading the Space Pirates in taking Metroids to replicate and use as biological weapons against those that oppose their dominion over their part of the galaxy. Facing a final confrontation with the creature that murdered her parents and childhood friends, Samus works her way through the eight caverns of Zebes to the Space Pirate base with her Power Suit and Morph Ball to save their Universe.

The Little Mermaid (1989)

In my own version Disney's beguiling animated romp clocking in at 135 minutes, rebellious 21-year-old mermaid Ariel is fascinated with life on land and hopes to study it for her thesis project at the Royal University in 1831. On one of her visits to the surface, which are slowly being allowed by her protective father, King Triton, she falls for a human prince named Eric. Determined to be with her new love, Ariel makes a dangerous deal with the sea witch Ursula to become human for one whole days. But when plans go awry for the star-crossed lovers, the king must make the ultimate sacrifice for his daughter - and Ariel and Eric will have to work together to foil the sea witch's plans.
