Peter Parker and Miles Morales have been investigating New York's biggest crime ring for a year. The trail seemingly leads to Wilson Fisk, but when Kitty's friend Jean reads Fisk's mind to uncover the truth, the two Spider-Men discover that Fisk is innocent. Confused, the two are thrust deeper into their investigation as they attempt to uncover who's really pulling the strings.

SHIELD Agent Eric O'Grady is a generally awful human being. After screwing up a field mission, Eric is convinced he's done for. However, he's instead sent to the labs with Dr. Hank Pym. Pym decides to use Eric, stuffing him in an experimental shrinking suit. As Eric learns how to use it, he's tasked with finding and retrieving a lost experiment. Forced to stay small due to the experiment's size, Eric soon finds himself fighting a super-intelligent beetle who's bent on destroying the world... and determined to use Pym's technology to do it.
