Class Princesses by Decade
The flipside to one of my decades posts - all the popular girls who aren’t evil demon spawn and are genuinely well liked instead of feared, all across various mediums and decades. Spoiled Sweet and Lovable Alphas can be included, but not if they were initially the Alpha B*tch for a significant length of the story, or if they were subservient to the Alpha B*tch (so, not Veronica Sawyer, for example).

Shows on Bros by Decades
Gender is a social construct, but let’s sort and rank the male led shows of the past and present (not school set series unless it’s about staff and administrators)

The Inbetweeners (Gender Swap) (UK; 2008-2010)
Follows four friends and their antics during their final years of school. Only use actors around the age of the original actors

TV on Women by Decade
TV series led by, starring a large cast of, or aimed to a largely female audience by decade (not including family sitcoms like Full House or teen shows)

College Shows by Decade
A decade by decade look at college life, continuing education and/or 18-22 year old protagonists on the small screen

Middle School Shows by Decade
All the shows about those awkward preteen years

Rom Coms and Chick Flicks by Decade
Sorting romantic comedies, drama, weepies, chick flicks - all the classics from slumber parties and ice cream binges (not including teen and college movies)

Teen Shows by Decade
Different medium, same format. All the high school dramas, laughs and feels

Tween Movies by Decade
Same as the last two, but slightly younger audiences and middle school aged protagonists

College Movies by Decade
Same as the last, just a slightly older (but no more wiser) crowd (college aged protagonists also acceptable, even without a college setting)

Teen Movies by Decade
Half sorting, half ranking your favorite teen movies by decade

Pitch Perfect (2022-2027)
Beca, a freshman at Barden University, is cajoled into joining The Bellas, her school's all-girls singing group. Injecting some much needed energy into their repertoire, The Bellas take on their male rivals in a campus competition.

The Family Stone (2025)
Named “one of the Christmas films people love to hate” by the WSJ

Alias (2021-2026)
A young woman learns she has a familial history of undercover work and agrees to become an international spy for a supposed secret branch of the CIA. The secrecy complicates her social and love lives, but it's nothing compared to what happens when she finds out her employer has no ties to the CIA.

Peyton Place (1984-1989)
The original primetime soap took place in the title town, which was founded by the Peyton family, whose members included the Harringtons. Some of the plots involved Rodney Harrington, the oldest son, choosing between bad girl Betty Anderson or fragile Allison MacKenzie. His brother Norman took up with working class Rita Jacks. Allison's mother Connie was keeping a secret about her daughter's birth. People married and divorced, loved and lost. Murder, illicit passion, insanity, and secrets were the staples of Peyton Place.

Most Beautiful by Generation
I lied about “regular programming.” Having fun with the decades one, but this is based more on birth years and generations. Vote for your choices on the most subjective quality on earth, but also the one we can’t help but notice. Singers, actors, influencers, models, and anyone else in the public eye allowed (with the exception of politicians and Generation Alpha).

Grease (2018)
Good girl Sandy Olsson and greaser Danny Zuko fell in love over the summer. When they unexpectedly discover they're now in the same high school, will they be able to rekindle their romance? (Honestly my casting choices are in part because I believe the 35 year old teenagers in the film are part of its charm.)

Big Jerks on Campus/Jerk Jocks by Decade
Figured we needed the spear counterpart to Alpha B*tches before a return to regular programming!

Final Girls by Decade
Sort the plucky solo (or at least the last lead standing, love interests notwithstanding) survivors of horror films (so not war films, natural disasters, action, et al) into their respective decades

Alpha B*tches by Decade
What it says on the tin: place each decade’s Queens of Mean in their corresponding places. Reign of terror over their high school is a general requirement, but in lieu of that, being traditionally attractive, socially adept and patently cruel is a prerequisite
