Batman: Brave and the Bold
After confirming the development of The Brave and the Bold, James Gunn revealed that the film would be based on Grant Morrison's 2006 to 2013 run of Batman stories in DC Comics. Morrison's run began with 2006's Batman #655, and ran through storylines including Final Crisis, Batman and Robin, and Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne. The series introduced Damian Wayne to DC Comics, and culminated in his death in 2013's Batman Incorporated #8, which could suggest a tragic storyline for the young Damian Wayne in the DC Universe, though it's unlikely The Brave and the Bold will condense seven years of comic storylines into one film.

The Lantern: Galactic Hero
Thousands of years ago, a mystical "green flame" fell to Earth in ancient China as a meteor. A voice in the flame predicted that it would act three times: once to bring death, once to bring life, and once to bring power. For the first prophecy, a lamp-maker crafted the green metal of the meteor into a lamp. In fear and as punishment for what they thought sacrilege, the local villagers killed him, only to be destroyed by a sudden burst of the green flame. For the second, in modern times, the lamp came into the hands of a patient of a mental institution who fashioned the lamp into a modern train lantern. The green flame restored his sanity and gave him a new life. For the third, by 2005, after having already fulfilled the first two-thirds of this prophecy, the lantern fashioned from the meteoric metal fell into the hands of Alan Scott, a young railroad engineer. Following a railroad bridge collapse, the flame instructs Scott in how to fashion a ring from its metal, to give him fantastic powers as the superhero Green Lantern. The Manhunters have had a mixture of oaths and attempt to steal Alan's ring but they fail. Green Lantern fights them and overcomes their power and defeats the robot army.

Flash: Ultimate Speedster
Jason Peter Garrick is a college student, who accidentally inhaled hard water vapors after taking a smoke break in his laboratory where he had been working. As a result, he finds that he can run at superhuman speed and has similarly fast reflexes. Retcons imply that the inhalation simply activated a latent metagene. After a brief career as a college football star, he dons a red shirt with a lightning bolt and a stylized metal helmet with wings battling the Faultless Four, a group of blackmailers (Sieur Satan, Serge Orloff, Duriel, and Smythe), who plot to steal an atomic bombarder and sell it. It is later revealed that a professor named Edward Clariss found the last container of heavy water vapor and used it to gain super-speed, becoming the Rival. He briefly takes away Jay's speed after capturing him, making him super slow, but Jay uses the gases again, allowing him to regain his super speed and defeat the Rival.

At the hospital, a paramedic develops an attraction to Ginny, but the head nurse limits the time he spends with her. After hearing a newsflash revealing Ginnie's location, Jason makes his way to the hospital, where he cuts the phone lines and slashes all the car tires so no one can escape and go for help. Wandering the halls in search of Ginnie, he kills the security guard, the doctor, and several nurses throughout the night. In her hospital room, Ginnie dreams about the time she defeated Jason. Paul, who has fully recovered, searched the hospital for Ginny, who is trying to evade Jason. Jason goes on a killing spree before finding Ginny, and Paul. Paul attempts to attack Jason, but Jason grabs him and crushes his skull with his bare hands, making one of his eyes pop out of its socket. Jason then attacks Ginny, who narrowly escapes the house and tries to flee in a hospital van. The van runs out of gas and Ginny makes her way to a Cemetary to hide, but Jason attacks her again. Ginny bashes Jason with a shovel, knocking him out. She assumes he is dead, only for him to decapitate her. It ends with Jason placing her head on a hook in his Shack.

Freddy Krueger is now trapped, powerless inside the mind of Jason Voorhees, where he learns of the Necronomicon hidden in the old Voorhees home, with the power to resurrect him. He and Jason's mother (false Pamela Voorhees) convince Jason that if he gets the Necronomicon, Jason will become "a real boy". Meanwhile, Ash Williams is called to the new Crystal Lake S-Mart to give his retail expertise to its team of teenage slacker employees. While there, he interprets a nearby Jason murder as work of the Deadites.
