Common K-drama Character Tropes

Korean dramas are famous for the female lead inevitably having to deal with a vicious mother-in-law, tragic setbacks, and someone falling terminally ill. They're renowned for pretty much everything.

Don (Korean Version)

A ruthless gangster named Don is killed during a scuffle with the police. Since only DSP D’Silva knows of this incident, he recruits Vijay, who is a spitting image of Don, to replace the original Don and infiltrate his gang. D’Silva plans to nab the entire gang, but when he dies during a raid, the secret that Vijay is not Don is also buried with him.

True Beauty

True Beauty (Korean: 여신강림) is a South Korean television series that was released in the 2020. However, I decided to warp a version of the drama and decided if it was released somewhere in the 2000s with a cast who would fit those certain characters.

Full House (remake)

Remake idea inspired of the 2004 Korean Drama, "Full House" which starred Song Hye Kyo and Rain Bi
