Superman II: Warped Reflections (2008)

Two years after the first film, Superman has become known as Earth’s mightiest hero while, as Clark Kent, he begins a romance with Lois Lane. Though he wants to reveal his secret identity, he fears the consequences and keeps it hidden. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor, now CEO of LexCorp, and General Sam Lane independently plot the hero’s downfall. Lex creates an unstable clone, Bizarro, while Sam transforms critically injured soldier John Corben into the powerful cyborg Metallo. Corben becomes obsessed with Lois, pursuing her despite her repeated rejection. Meanwhile Bizarro escapes and begins wandering around Metropolis in a makeshift costume. Lucy, Lois’ younger sister, blinded in the car crash that killed their mother, attempts suicide but is saved by Bizarro, who falls in love with her while afraid of revealing his disfigured appearance. Metallo battles Superman and falls into madness after being rejected by Lois, he threatens to destroy Metropolis by creating a black hole with Lex’s technology. Superman and Bizarro join forces to stop him. Bizarro sacrifices himself by sealing the black hole while wiping Lucy’s tears, miraculously restoring her sight in the process. Inspired by Bizarro’s heroism, Clark finally reveals his identity to Lois. In a mid-credits twist, Bizarro is revealed to have survived, stranded on a distant alien world where he chooses to become its protector, bewildering its primitive inhabitants.

Flash: The Scarlet Speedster (2008)

Young police scientist Barry Allen is struck by lightning, miraculously surviving, he realizes that he has gained super-human speed. Inspired by the recently debuted superheroes, he designs a suit and calls himself Flash, after a famous speedster from the 40s. As he struggles to get used to his new powers, Flash frequently clashes with the Rogues, a team of criminals who were recently equipped with advanced technology by an unknown source. Barry's friend and engineer Clyde Mardon is mysteriously killed and his creations are stolen, which causes his brother Mark to swear revenge, using the only invention that the attackers couldn’t find, an advanced staff that can affect the weather. Barry and Iris investigate and discover that the technology used by the Rogues is connected to Russell Glosson, an elderly inventor, who killed Clyde in order to steal his technology. It’s revealed that Glosson is the Turtle, an old enemy of the original Flash, and helped the Rogues out of disgust that someone has followed on his nemesis’ legacy. Turtle uses an advanced suit that can slow down reality around him, but is defeated by Flash and Mark Mardon. Mark brutally beats Turtle but is stopped by Flash. In the aftermath, Flash settles in as Central City’s hero while Mark joins the Rogues with the alias Weather Wizard.

Wonder Woman: Gods & Mortals (2007)

In the hidden island of Themyscira, home of the Amazons, Queen Hippolyta created a clay statue of her late daughter, which was granted life as a gift from the goddesses and named Diana. In the present day, the oracle Menalippe saw visions of a brutal world war caused by Ares. In response, Hippolyta reluctantly sends Diana to Man’s World, tasked with stopping his plans. Arriving in Gateway City, Diana befriends secretary Etta Candy and archaeologist Barbara Minerva, and clashes with US Military forces led by General Phillip Darnell and Steve Trevor. As they investigate, Diana clashes with villains and monsters sent by Ares and recruits Steve, who changed sides after discovering that Darnell wants to start World War III. It's revealed that Darnell is Ares, who used a false identity to manipulate the governments. Diana battles him and eventually succeeds in tying him with the Lasso of Truth, causing him to see that his war would cause the extinction of humanity, which would destroy the Gods due to the lack of worshippers. Ares admits defeat and returns to Olympus, while Diana stays on Gateway City and embraces her role as Wonder Woman.

Batman: The Dark Knight (2007)

After nearly a decade of training around the world, Bruce Wayne returns to Gotham and becomes CEO of Wayne Enterprises. Suiting up as Batman for the first time, he finds a city on the brink of a bloody gang war as the powerful Falcone Gang who controlled the city for decades are attacked by the anarchist Red Hood Gang, while the corrupt Police Commissioner Gillian B. Loeb lets them do as they please. Batman forms an alliance with Lieutenant James Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, and strikes a romance with the mysterious Catwoman, secretly Falcone's daughter. Batman battles both gangs, as well as the pyromaniac mercenary Firefly, who was hired by Falcone to fight for him. During the ensuing conflict Falcone is killed by the Red Hood, who falls into a vat of chemicals during a fight with Batman. The remnants of the Falcone Gang are taken over by Oswald Cobblepot, while Commissioner Loeb is gunned down by Harvey Dent who pins the crime on the Red Hood, allowing Gordon to succeed him while revealing his secret dark side.

Superman: The Man of Tomorrow (2006)

Years after leaving Smallville following the deaths of his adoptive parents, Clark Kent moves to Metropolis and becomes a reporter at the Daily Planet, where he befriends Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen and reconnects with his childhood friend Lex Luthor, now a scientist working for JensenCorp. As Clark embraces his role as Superman, his growing fame draws the attention of the US military and Maxwell Jensen, the corrupt CEO of JensenCorp. When Lois uncovers evidence of Jensen's corruption, he targets both the Daily Planet and Superman. After his crimes are exposed, Jensen is transformed into the monstrous Parasite and unleashes a destructive rampage across Metropolis, forcing Superman into a final battle to stop him. In the aftermath, it is revealed that Lex secretly engineered Jensen's downfall and rise as Parasite, allowing him to take control of JensenCorp and rebrand it as LexCorp.
