Spider-Man 5 (2011)
Peter is at its lowest as Mary Jane just died at the hands of the Vulture. Right now, he can't trust anyone, not even Felicia that, in the meantime, has turned to a new leaf and started to do good for the city. Spider-Man is nowhere to be seen and the citizens start to lose their faith in him. The only person Peter can trust is his professor and menthor Curtis Connors. The doctor has had his right arm amputed and has been trying for years to come up with a method to make it regrow. Peter decides to help him and together they develop an experimental serum taken from reptilian DNA. It works and the doctor's arm has now regrown. But the next day, Peter finds out that the DNA transformed the doctor into a giant lizard that is now terrorizing the city. Spider-Man must now rise from the ashes and defeat his menthor to try and save him from his terrible fate.

Spider-Man 4 (2009)
After defeating Venom, Spider-Man now is being praised and thanked by the citizens of New York but his greatest challenge still lies ahead as he fights off the Vulture. Spider-Man must also preserve his relationship with Mary Jane as the Black Cat arrives in town.

Batman vs Superman: Asylum (2004)
Batman vs. Superman is the title for a cancelled Superman and Batman movie intended for production during the 2000s. The script was written by Akiva Goldsman and the film was going to be directed by Wolfgang Petersen. Goldsman's draft, introduced Bruce Wayne attempting to shake all of the demons in his life after his five year retirement of crimefighting. Dick Grayson, Alfred Pennyworth and Commissioner Gordon are all dead. Meanwhile, Clark Kent is down on his luck and in despair after his divorce from Lois Lane. Clark serves as Bruce's best man at his wedding to the beautiful and lovely Elizabeth Miller. After Elizabeth is killed by the Joker at the honeymoon, Bruce is forced to don the Batsuit once more, tangling a plot which involves Lex Luthor, while Clark begins a romance with Lana Lang in Smallville.

Batman: No Man's Land (2021)
After the explosion of the Gotham bridges that connect the city to the rest of the continent and a series of earthquakes, Gotham City becomes a "no man's land" controlled by the most powerful and crazy criminals that in the meantime have escaped from Arkham Asylum and Blackgate. As Batman takes them down to bring order, he discovers that the whole situation was orchestrated by the mysterious Court of Owls in order to regain control over Gotham. Meanwhile, the Joker prepares himself for the final fight against Batman by targeting his loved ones.

The Batman (2018)
The film opens with Batman chasing Catwoman around Gotham after a break-in at the Gotham museum of art. The chase ends with Batman handing her over to the police. Batman is in his third year crime fighting, some people consider him a hero, some a vigilante and some people even think he is a urban myth. Fact is, that since his arrival, Gotham has been a much more safer city as he cleaned up the streets from the major criminal organizations such as the Falcones, the Maronis, the Red Hood Gang and crazy criminals such as the likes of Joker, Scarecrow, Bane and Penguin. But Batman hasn't faced his greatest challenge yet: Edward Nygma, the Riddler, a criminal that has an obsession with puzzles, riddles and word games. As Batman fails to stop him, he takes control of Gotham, causing it to become a flooded wasteland where only the intelligent are meant to survive. Batman will now have to reconquer the city by overcoming the riddles and deadly traps of Nygma, but he will not be alone in this, as he will be helped by Catwoman and a young boy named Jason Todd.

Batman: Arkham City
The events of Arkham City take place somewhere between six and eighteen months after Batman: Arkham Asylum. Quincy Sharp, former warden of Arkham Asylum, has taken credit for stopping the Joker's Asylum takeover, and used the notoriety to become mayor of Gotham City. Deeming Arkham and Blackgate Penitentiary no longer suitable to contain the city's criminals, Sharp has both facilities closed and buys out a large section of Gotham's slums, converting them into an immense open-air prison named Arkham City. The facility is placed in the care of genius psychiatrist Hugo Strange — who is secretly manipulating Sharp — and guarded by a squad of heavily-armed mercenaries hired from a rogue private military firm, TYGER Security. The inmates are given free rein as long as they do not attempt to escape. Batman maintains a vigil over the detention city, concerned that the chaotic situation there will get out of hand. Meanwhile, the Joker is stricken with a potentially fatal disease, mutated by his consumption of, and subsequent transformation by, the Titan formula—an unstable steroid serum which has the ability to turn men into maddened monsters.

Batman: Arkham Asylum
The Joker, Batman's arch enemy, has instigated an elaborate plot from within Arkham Island, where many of Batman's other foes have been incarcerated. Batman investigates and comes to learn that the Joker is trying to create an army of Bane-like creatures to threaten Gotham City, and is forced to put a stop to the Joker's plans. Throughout the night, Batman is forced to deal with the temporarily admitted sane prisoners from Blackgate prison, Scarecrow, Zsasz, Poison Ivy, Bane, Killer Croc and Harley Quinn.

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
An old flame of Bruce Wayne strolls into town, re-heating up the romance between the two. At the same time, a mass murderer with an axe begins to systematically eliminate Gotham's crime bosses. Due to the person's dark appearance, he is mistaken for Batman. Now on the run, Batman must solve the mystery (which eventually involves the Joker in a neat-plot twist) and deal with the romance between him and Andrea Beaumont, which is more than meets the eye.

Batman: Knightfall
The story takes place over approximately six months. Bruce Wayne (Batman) suffers burnout and is systematically assaulted and crippled by a "super steroid"-enhanced genius named Bane. Wayne is replaced as Batman by an apprentice named Jean-Paul Valley (a.k.a. Azrael), who becomes increasingly violent and unstable, tarnishing Batman's reputation. Eventually, Wayne is healed through paranormal means and reclaims his role as Batman.

Batman R.I.P.
"Batman R.I.P." is an American comic book story arc published in Batman #676–681 by DC Comics. Written by Grant Morrison, penciled by Tony Daniel, and with covers by Alex Ross, the story pits the superhero Batman against the Black Glove organization as they attempt to destroy everything that he stands for.

In this story, a young Bruce Wayne attempts to save Gotham City from the murderous group known as the Red Hood Gang. However, since Bruce has yet to establish a reputation in the criminal underworld, and has yet to turn himself into the fearsome figure of Batman, he has been having a hard time winning his war. His inexperience, carelessness and uncontrolled anger have not only stalled his mission but also strained his relationship with his faithful butler Alfred Pennyworth.

Batman: Year One
Police officer James Gordon is transferred to Gotham City, where he has to deal with corruption in the workplace. Meanwhile, young Bruce Wayne begins his crusade against crime.
