Thor

Gorr is an alien whose race was slaughtered by Hela. He blames the Asgardians and, after years of searching, retrieved the Necrosword to wipe them out. Thor is having intergalactic adventures with the Guardians of the Galaxy when Gorr attacks and wounds him, then announces that he will kill the remaining Asgardians on Earth. Thor goes there to protect them with Rocket and Groot. All leads to major battle between Thor and Jane against Gorr across time and space, while Valkyrie and Brand lead the Asgardians and S.W.O.R.D. in battle against the Shadow Berserkers to defend humanity.

Captain Marvel 2

The orbital space station known as the Peak the SWORD (Sentient World Observation and Response Department) base is being compromised by a rare, alien threat. That threat is the Brood, who are laying eggs on the SWORD base and possessing agents. It turns out that only male operatives can get compromised. Carol and the other female heroes of the Marvel Universe must stop the spread of the Brood and their influence across the galaxy. It turns out that the species are operating as parasites and have been secretly conquering planets in the universe. In order to kill them, they must kill the Empress Brood, which means going to their home planet."

When Rhomann Dey, the Nova Prime, was dying he fled through the universe and went to Earth. There he chose Richard Rider to receive his powers and granted him the Nova Force. He was asked by Rhomann Dey to use his powers for the good of Earth and the universe and serve as its protector. This was a lot for the teen-aged Rider but he nonetheless started a superhero career with his newfound powers as Nova, the Human Rocket!
