Curt Connors needs help with regrowing his arm, however a failed experiment turns him into a mutated Lizard. Peter needs to choose between becoming a father or saving Dr. Connors from his mutation.

Peter Parker is a 17 year old Wallflower who gets bitten by a genetically altered spider that gives him powers. He fights a wrestler to get some money and stops a criminal from getting away. Fast forward 20 years and Peter is living with his wife Mary Jane Watson and has a company called Parker Industries. But Peter has a repeated feeling that something is wrong. He visits his Aunt May and Uncle Ben regularly, but always has a dream where he sees Ben dead on the floor. He feels like his life is a lie and that he's trapped in some never ending nightmare.

After the events of Spider-Man 3, Peter and Mary Jane have settled down and is now expecting a child. They both mourn Harry Osborn. Peter meets a new vigilante named Black Cat who has appeared suspiciously after a new string of crime has shown up.
