They were known for their rule-breaking, their creation of the Marauder's Map, and their abilities to become unregistered Animagi to support Remus during his monthly werewolf transformations. The series mainly focuses on the Marauders' last three years at Hogwarts before they joined the Order of the Phoenix and their fall in the First Wizarding War.
