EXCALIBUR

When New England’s super-team, Excalibur, embarks on an interdimensional odyssey, a legendary team is born!Other teams are founded, but Excalibur was forged. Following a plan prepared by her seemingly deceased father Merlyn, the Omniversal Guardian Roma forges links between British heroes Brian Braddock, AKA Captain Britain, his paramour, the metamorphic Meggan Puceanu, AKA Meggan, and the American-based X-Men. Roma covertly arranges for Brian’s sister Betsy, AKA Psylocke, to join the latter group and ensures the X-Men’s seeming deaths are broadcast across the globe. As a side effect, it pulls Brian and Meggan closer to surviving X-Men Kurt Wagner, AKA Nightcrawler, and Kitty Pryde, AKA Shadowcat (later Kate Pryde), who had been recovering from a prior battle on Scotland’s Muir Island. Roma then engineers the escape of abducted former X-Man Rachel Summers, AKA Phoenix (now Marvel Girl), from Mojo’s realm as a catalyst to unite the five as a team, initially working together to prevent both Roma’s agents the Technet and Mojo’s Warwolves from recapturing his former prisoner. Unaware of Roma’s machinations or that they were intended as a weapon to fight Merlyn’s old foe Necrom, the group sets up base in Captain Britain’s lighthouse home. Though from the start, individual members experience several reality slips within the structure, warning signs of Necrom’s approaching apotheosis.

House Of M

Marvel's epic House of M event from Brian Michael Bendis and Olivier Coipel followed up on the events of Avengers Disassembled and brought the Avengers and the X-Men together to deal with the threat of Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch just as reality was dramatically altered into a world run by mutants that has continued ..Wanda resurrected her brother, and distraught and angry over the fact that their father had always cared more about mutantkind than his own children, the Scarlet Witch then changed reality again, this time attempting to rid the world of the mutant gene by casting another spell; "No More Mutants".

The X-Men are a team of fictional superheros, also known as mutants, created by Marvel Comics. They are a group of individuals with extraordinary powers who fight for justice and often face discrimination and prejudice due to their mutant abilities. The team, led by Charles Xavier, works to defend both humans and mutants from a variety of threats, including other mutants and human organizations who fear or exploit mutants.

Marvel's Secret Empire

"Secret Empire," the organization of the same name, led by the new Number One, kidnaps various mutant heroes and villains to power a "flying saucer." They land the saucer on the White House lawn, demanding government surrender or nuclear detonations in major cities. The Secret Empire is defeated by Captain America, Cyclops, the Falcon, and Marvel Girl. Number One, revealed to be a high-ranking government official, attempts a coup, committing suicide rather than be captured.

Avengers Annihilation

During the briefing, The Annihilation Wave invades and successfully destroys the planet, including all Nova Corp members save for Richard Rider, the lone human Nova Corps member. Having also been delivered to Xandar prior to the attack, Drax and Cammi also survive the onslaught of The Annihilation Wave.After a warning from Doctor Doom, the Avengers, the New Avengers, the X-Men, Fantastic Four, Guarduans of the Galaxy, S.W.O.R.D, and many other factions come together at Earth to make one final stand against the most dangerous enemy the universe has even faced.
