Lukas GageΒ (born May 28, 1995) is an American actor. He appeared in the television seriesΒ American VandalΒ (2017),Β EuphoriaΒ (2019),Β The White LotusΒ (2021),Β YouΒ (2023), andΒ Fargo (2023), as well as the horror filmsΒ Smile 2Β (2024) and Companion (2025).
Gage was born on May 28, 1995, inΒ San Diego, CaliforniaΒ and raised inΒ Encinitas, California.Β He went to film camp every summerΒ and acted in plays and commercials.Β He attendedΒ San Dieguito AcademyΒ in Encinitas.
In November 2020, Gage posted a clip of an audition onΒ Zoom,Β during which directorΒ Tristram ShapeeroΒ could be heard criticizing Gage's apartment, unaware that his microphone was not muted. Gage received messages of support from others in the film industry. Although he did not get the job, the rejection allowed him to accept a part in theΒ HBOΒ miniseriesΒ The White Lotus.
Gage is gay.Β Hairstylist Chris Appleton confirmed his relationship with Gage onΒ The Drew Barrymore ShowΒ in March 2023,Β and early the following month, the pair became engaged. Nineteen days later, Appleton and Gage were married.Β On November 13, 2023, Appleton filed for divorce from Gage, citing irreconcilable differences.
