Arnold Perlstein

Arnold Perlstein is a fictional character from The Magic School Bus, who has been featured in both the book and TV series respectively. He is a student at Walkerville Elementary School and the class scaredy-cat of Ms. Frizzle's class. Arnold is shown to be not very fond of field trips, often lamenting "I think/knew I should've stayed home today" when either going on or faced with potential danger on said field trip(s). But despite his dislike for field trips, he shows his loyalty to Ms. Frizzle and his classmates when his bravery calls for it. Arnold has an intense interest in and precocious knowledge of rocks and minerals along with an extensive collection of such to boot and has quite an appetite, too, known for eating Cheezie Weezies, Sea Wheedies, and mallow blasters; and is also allergic to pollen outside of black pepper. He wears a yellow-and-white striped long-sleeved polo, a pair blue jeans, blue sneakers, and light-blue circular-framed eyeglasses.
