Defne Yılmaz, a pragmatic and compassionate nurse, finds herself transported to a magical land after a freak storm while searching for her estranged mother. In this strange new world, known as Diyarlar Diyarı (The Land of Lands), Defne learns she is part of an ancient prophecy to bring balance to the realm, which has been divided by the oppressive rule of Sultan Zafir, a paranoid ruler obsessed with maintaining his power over Zümrüt Sarayı. Along the way, Defne allies with a group of unlikely companions: a warrior with no memory, a scientist with no heart, and a healer with no courage. Together, they travel through the land’s four provinces—each inspired by elements of Turkish history and mythology—on a quest to uncover the truth about Defne’s destiny, overthrow the Sultan, and restore harmony to the magical land.
