Alternate Real Life Production: During development of the film, Stephen Sommers decided to step down from his position as director and gave it to Zack Snyder, Stephen Sommers would still contribute to the film as a producer. Description of Ripcord (Wallace A. Weems):

Ripcord is a former Master Sergeant of the U.S. ARMY and served alongside Flint, Ripcord's best friend. After their convoy gets attacked by Cobra Viper Commandos, they are saved by Duke and his team from Baroness and the Viper Commandos. After being brought to the G.I. Joe Pit, Flint along with Ripcord, decide to join the organization, where he would be mentored by Duke and Ripcord would eventually began a relationship with Scarlett.
