Alternate Real Life Production: During development of the film, Stephen Sommers decided to step down from his position as director and gave it to Zack Snyder, Stephen Sommers would still contribute to the film as a producer. Description of Daniel DeCobray (Baron):

Daniel DeCobray is the husband of the Baroness and unknown to him, Baroness only married him so she can use him in order to have him do experiments for M.A.R.S. Industries and Daniel is unaware of this. When Baroness and Storm Shadow arrive in Paris so the Nanomite missiles can be weaponized, Daniel does so and once he outlived his usefulness, he’s killed by Baroness.

ultracarterzilla In Zack Snyder’s G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Baroness does not truly love Daniel and is the one who kills him as Daniel had outlived his usefulness.
