Based On Ethan Hawke's The Last Movie Stars
Childhood friends -- Paul Michaels and Janet Woodard -- reunite as they meet on a Christmas evening. Unbeknownst to Janet, who has become an accomplished actress and producer, Paul has become a widely known film star of his time. Despite, the tumultuous reunion and beginnings of their relationship, they stick together through the thick and thin despite the odds as they reach their twilight years together.
