6000 years ago, in an alternate past, Arabian scientist Yakub leads a movement against the local king about the treatment of poor people and slaves. Arrested and dissatisfied, he accepts to be exiled in the Aegean isle of Pelan to create a new race of slaves through inbreeding. However, Yakub's sanity begins to deteriorate.
