Story Plot

Synopsis: After World War II, good friends James Howlett and Victor Creed continued to come to an agreement. Until one day 40 years later, James Howlett murdered Victor's brother, whom he tortured for several years. This made Victor furious, and the whole incident drove him crazy. Victor has been on the hunt for James ever since. News comes out that a mutant is terrorizing the streets of New York in search of a certain "James Howlett", this which Hank Mccoy sees and passes on to Charles Xavier. They discuss who this mutant is, and suddenly it strikes Charles that he met James Howlett. He explains to Hank that he tried to recruit James Howlett during World War II, but that he declined the offer. Hank and Charles tell this to their students. They explain the situation and Charles urges them to handle Victor Creed while he tries to find James Howlett. Scott Summers immediately begins to design a plan, and more confident than ever, he tells his plan to Jean, Bobby and Hank. The team gets ready for the mission and leaves. This allows Charles to use Cerebro, a device that, along with Charles' telekinetic powers, can locate a mutant or human.

    Scott and the rest of the team arrive in downtown New York. Creed turns around and roars before attacking. Scott orders Hank to take care of Creed while the rest of the team does their part of the mission. Hank jumps on Creed and the two beasts start fighting each other. Bobby gets behind Victor and freezes his feet. Hank gets a real hit, which makes Victor fly through the air. Scott fires optical blasts at Victor before the ground begins to shake. Everyone looks around to see Jean floating in the air. She throws objects at Victor, which he ultimately avoids. Victor catches one of the objects and throws it at Jean who falls to the ground. Scott tries to get the unconscious Jean to wake up while the other two fight for their lives against Creed, who now gains the upper hand. Scott takes Jean in his arms and orders the team to retreat. Charles manages to locate James Howlett after a while of searching. He's at a local bar in Chicago. Charles comes out of the room where Cerebro is kept and is met by his students. Hank takes the lifeless Jean in his arms and rushes towards the medical room. He lays her in a bed next to Warren. When Hank returns, they start discussing how to defeat Victor Creed. Charles says he found Howlett. On the same day, Charles and Scott take a plane down to Chicago to meet James Howlett. When they enter the almost empty bar, all they see is a short little man with a cigar in his mouth. "Long time no see, Charles" the man says and turns around. The two mutants greet the bitter James Howlett, who now goes by the name Logan. They explain the situation and succeed in convincing Logan to come with them to New York. They're taking the plane back to New York. They managed to locate Creed, who is now murdering people in a shopping center. They park on the roof of the mall, and Logan goes down himself, with Scott as a backup if needed. Logan lights a cigar and shouts Victor's name to get his attention. He is suddenly jumped on by Victor who then throws him against a wall. Logan grins before taking out his adamantium claws, and the two begin to fight. After destroying the entire mall and putting many people in danger, Logan has managed to win. Logan leaves the lifeless Victor Creed and returns to Scott and Charles. Scott exhales, and Charles welcomes Logan to the family! Mid credit scene: Erik Lehnsherr arrives at the mall to pick up the lifeless Victor Creed. He gives him the alias Sabretooth and takes him to his lair. Post credit scene: Well-known neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen is involved in a horrific car accident that causes him serious injuries.
