Cameron Hodge is one of Bastion's most loyal followers and the public face of humanity's anti-mutant crusade. Once a charismatic businessman and political strategist, Hodge willingly sacrificed his humanity to become the first perfected fusion of man and machine. Unlike Bastion, whose cybernetics are seamless and elegant, Hodge's body is a horrifying patchwork of exposed steel, hydraulic limbs, neural cables, and biomechanical armor. His transformation reflects his obsession with eradicating mutants at any cost. Andrew J. West begins the film looking almost entirely human—a calm, intelligent executive in tailored suits who speaks with confidence and conviction. As the story progresses, injuries sustained in battle force Bastion to rebuild him piece by piece until very little of the original Cameron Hodge remains.
