• otsutsuki The film begins during the Gulf War in October 1990 when during the war the race of mutants are "discovered by humanity" and the US and Iraq came together to end this "threat" after many losses an agreement between Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr they use the brain and Xavier "changes" the events of the Gulf War making the whole world forget about mutants and believe that the war was between US and Iraq, Xavier and his students promised to stay hidden in his mansion while Erik and his followers would stay on their island called Genosha, so begins the Marvel Studios logo to the tune of the classic 90s series theme, and now we're in the present day after Thanos' blip, a government scientist named Bolivar Trask leads a capture of a mutant in Illinois after her neighbors see her go through the wall, this hunt is unsuccessful because two mutants appear to save the girl they are Scott Summers the Cyclops and Jean Gray the girl faints and when she wakes up she is in a Mansion full of young people with abilities, the scene cuts to a senate meeting where Senator Robert Kelly along with Colonel William Strkyer says that for years humanity has shared the earth with people endowed with abilities, the so-called mutants and that he is a threat to society, when he is called a professor of genetic mutation it is when we see a wheelchair coming and to the sound of the classic 90's theme is when we see Charles Xavier in his speech he says it is not possible to have mutants and that this is a children's story, the meeting is closed and in a secluded hall Charles feels Erik and goes to him where they talk and express their ideologies about mutants in this new post Thanos world, while Charles is in the light, Erik is in the shadows, in the mansion the girl says her name is Kitty Pride and knows some mutants and knows a little about them between we are introduced to professors Hank McCoy and Ororo Munroe in addition to the rogue Gambit, the mysterious Rogue, Jean a very kind person, the religious Nightcrawler, and Scott that the other students are inspired when the teacher talks and calms Kitty and explains to her about the context of mutants and that within the Institute she could master her powers, meanwhile Stryker, Kelly and Trask discovers the location of Genosha thanks to a back device that after his experiments on some mutants manages to find and locate mutants they attack the island and capture some mutants, Erik seeing the destruction of Genosha, gathers his Brotherhood of Mutants to end the "War" that humanity had started between them are Psyloke, Pyro, Emma Frost, Mystique and Pietro who had supposedly "died" in Age of Ultron appears and it is made clear that he faked his death at Erik's request in addition to getting closer to his father, Mystique disguised as a CIA agent discovers Trask's experiments but is discovered and captured, at the X Mansion, Charles, Hank and Ororo learn of the attack on Genosha and wonder if the world is ready for this and as Magneto will react, the young people decide to take Kitty to a private party between them, where they demonstrate their powers and even drink since there they are not ashamed to be who they really are, Ororo and Hank find out about the party and Professor says he is disappointed in them as well as saying that he expected more from them, when Trask through information taken by force from Mystique they arrive at the X Mansion and the Sentinels wage a great battle against the X -Men but are captured except Kitty and Kurt who get on Trask's plane without them knowing and go to the Ice Box, where they sneak there so they don't get captured when Magneto and the Brotherhood of Mutants arrive and rescue the genosha mutants together with Mystique, Erik lets Charles go and says it's all over today, Charles tells him to move on because it's not because society sees you as a monster that you should act like one, Erik counters that the world took everything from him, everything he ever had loved and that this will never happen again so we see a flashback of young Erik in one of the last Nazi concentration camps that acted secretly in the 70's where we see him being separated from his parents and using his powers for the first time, after which he is marked and tortured, after that we cut to poland in 1989 before the gulf war, Erik lives with his wife Magda and their 3 year old twins and a newborn baby, he worked in a factory but after an earthquake he uses his powers and s alva his co-worker the same night they attack Erik's house, he hides the children in a shed and tries to calm the guards but they try to take him by force, we see the metals but as a result Magda ends up dying, taken by fury Erik ends up killing him everyone around him, at the end, seeing the body of his dead loved one, he breaks down in tears and wonders is this what you want from me ? Is this what i am ? Is this what i am!, he leaves the twin babies with a Sokovian family and decides to keep their youngest baby. We go back to the present and Charles makes contact with Kitty and Kurt to rescue them and when they are going to do that they are surrounded by guards they manage to escape and arrive in a protected room and a closed cell with a Weapon X title, the guards enter the room and do not they find them because they are hidden, Kurt uses his tail to open the button and open the cell when we see Weapon X make victims around him leaving everyone dead, seeing Kitty and Kurt they take all his equipment, he runs away aimlessly, Kitty and Kurt rescue the X-Men and a dragon named Lockhead, Charles says he knows where Magneto will attack, after the Ice Box mess, Senator Kelly exposes the Mutants in the media and says there are measures against them the Sentinels who use a chip to hunt only mutants, and that their exhibition will be in the White House, the population is atherozed by this revelation which makes them support the idea of ​​the sentinels, in Jet X, Xavier's team they discuss the plan that is just to neutralize, protect the population and strip rring Erik's helmet so that Charles can defeat him, the Brotherhood of Mutants arrives at the white house and attacks the civilians and sentries when the X-Men arrive a great battle is fought and all the mutants are struggling to win over hundreds of sentries, while Magneto attacks leaders of all nations, Trask, Stryker and Kelly he uses the live broadcasts to the world and gives a message: "You built these weapons to destroy us. Why? Because you are afraid of our gifts. Because we are different. Humanity has always feared that which is different, but I am here to tell you, to tell the world, you're right to fear us. We are the future. We are the ones who inherit this earth and anyone who stands in our way, will suffer the same fate as these men you see before you. Today was meant to be a display of your power. I give you a glimpse of the devastation my race can unleash upon your's. Let this be a warning to the world and to my mutant brothers and sisters out there, I say this. No more hiding. No more suffering. You have lived in the shadows of shame and fear for too long. Come out. Join me. Fight together in a brotherhood of our kind, a new tomorrow that starts today." while he talks we see the mutants suffer to defeat the sentries, when erik goes to kill the leadersm Kitty appears and removes her helmet, Charles enters his mind and defeats him, then enters trask's mind and turns off the sentries, after that the X- Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants flee and the discussion about mutants is started in the world, Trask and Kelly are arrested for torture of mutants and conspiracy in consequence Stryker manages to escape, the next morning we see Kitty accepting herself the way she is, as we follow along. Charles in Erik's plastic prison playing chess with his friend when Erik wonders: Magneto: Does it ever wake you in the middle of the night? The feeling that one day they will pass that foolish law or one just like it, and come for you? And your children? Prof. Charles Francis Xavier : It does, indeed. Magneto : What do you do, when you wake up to that? Prof. Charles Francis Xavier : I feel a great swell of pity for the poor soul who comes to that school... looking for trouble, Magneto : [halts the game, sighs] Why do you come here, Charles? Prof. Charles Francis Xavier : Why do you ask questions to which you already know the answer? Magneto: Oh, yes. Your continuing search for hope. [motions to the guard to take Xavier away] Magneto : You know this plastic prison of theirs won't hold me forever. The war is still coming, Charles. And I intend to fight it, by any means necessary. Prof. Charles Francis Xavier : And I will always be there, old friend. First Scene Post Credits: Jean has nightmares with a Phoenix. Second Post Credits Scene: Doctor Strange appears at the Xavier Institute to talk to the Professor.

  • otsutsuki @frenchio I have a plan for a great saga for the X-Men within the MCU, it starts with The X-Men, it will go through two TV series and 5 more movies then the story I wanted to tell will be finished...

• legodoctorstrange I love the story, such a good way to establish Mutants in the MCU. The one thing I would change is the casting for Weapon X, Hugh Jackman has said that he does not want to return to the rule, and that he wants Logan to be the end of his Character, and he's too old now anyway. I would cast Milo Gibson, he looks very similar to Hugh Jackman and Wolverine from the comics.
