Synopsis

They are children of the higher atom, the next link in the chain of evolution. Each was born with a rare genetic mutation, which at puberty manifested in extraordinary powers. In a world filled with hate and prejudice, they are feared by those who cannot accept their differences. Led by Xavier, the X-Men fight to protect a world that fears them. They are locked in a battle against a former colleague and friend, Magneto, who believes humans and mutants shouldn't live together.

Description of Wolverine (James "Howlett" Logan):

James Howlett (but known only as Logan) was an unwitting subject of the Weapon X Program and had his bones coated in indestructible Adamantium, making him an even more lethal asset. He was rescued and assisted by Mac and Heather Hudson, joining Department H as a Canadian government operative known as the Wolverine, due to his clawed fists and wild manner. About his past before the Weapon X project, not even Logan himself can remember.
