Sequel to the reboot of the X-Men film franchise released in 2011.
Upon learning that the United States government is working on a weapon capable of annihilating all mutantkind, Magneto intends to reprogram the new weapon to throw it against humanity. Knowing this, the X-Men, now counting on new members on the team, need to stop the plans of the Mutant Brotherhood.
