(Played by Rick Gonzalez in the Arrowverse). Rene Ramirez was born in a part of Starling City known as the Glades which were regularly plagued by violence. He was once reprimanded by police officer Quentin Lance who let him off easily. After Rene graduated high school, he served in the US Navy and got dishonorably discharged. Rene later on married a woman named Laura and had a daughter named Zoe. His wife was a drug addict and was one day killed by a drug dealer. Rene fell into a depression after his wife's death. When the Green Arrow killed Damien Darhk on television, Rene was inspired to become the vigilante known as Wild Dog.
