Even though Lex Luthor's latest plan against Superman failed, it's not like he took it so easily. And as he himself always liked to think, sometimes the best alternative is to do things with your own hands. Though Clark has an idea of what his nemesis might be up to, he realizes he'll need special help from none other than Batman himself when the two discover that their different cases are intertwined. At the same time, Bruce also discovers that Clark may need help as well, as he continues to deal with the fact that he now has another Kryptonian on his side. World's Finest marks the first film in the Superman franchise in that universe since Travis Knight's departure in "Memories," as well as the start of a new trilogy starring the Man of Steel.
