Synopsis

Even though Lex Luthor's latest plan against Superman failed, it's not like he took it so easily. And as he himself always liked to think, sometimes the best alternative is to do things with your own hands. Though Clark has an idea of what his nemesis might be up to, he realizes he'll need special help from none other than Batman himself when the two discover that their different cases are intertwined. At the same time, Bruce also discovers that Clark may need help as well, as he continues to deal with the fact that he now has another Kryptonian on his side. World's Finest marks the first film in the Superman franchise in that universe since Travis Knight's departure in "Memories," as well as the start of a new trilogy starring the Man of Steel.

Description of Supergirl (Kara Zor-El/Kara Kent):

Clark's first encounter with his cousin Kara wasn't exactly an easy one, as Bruce would discover in his conversations with his colleague. After all, from her point of view, her cousin still had to be a baby when he was shipped off in a pod like her. But after a brief moment of self-doubt, he could now concentrate on getting her used to her new home. Despite still full of uncertainties, Supergirl has the chance to understand what the heroes of this world mean, and how she herself can become one of them.
