Wonder Woman has spent years serving as Themyscira's ambassador to the world, balancing her superhero duties with diplomacy and humanitarian work while championing the Amazon belief that violence should always be a last resort. Her philosophy is tested when she rescues a mysterious young woman named Donna Troy from the sorceress Circe and is bound by the ancient Hecatea oath to protect her. As Steve Trevor investigates Donna's impossible history and Diana seeks answers on Themyscira, they discover that Donna is actually Troia, a second clay-born champion created by the Titans to oppose the Olympian gods. Her memories were erased after she killed Hercules, and Zeus now intends to execute her. When Zeus kidnaps Donna, Diana is forced into an uneasy alliance with Circe and journeys into the mythological world to save her. Their quest eventually fractures when Circe attempts to assassinate Zeus, leaving Diana trapped within the Labyrinth and questioning whether her commitment to compassion has accomplished anything. Guided to safety by the very Minotaur she once spared, Diana regains her faith and confronts Zeus on Olympus. Even after Zeus offers to release her from the Hecatea in exchange for Donna, Diana refuses to abandon her. Freed from the oath, Diana chooses to protect Donna anyway, proving that her compassion is not weakness but a conscious choice. Joined by Donna, now embracing her identity as Troia, Diana stands against Zeus and ultimately forces him to end his pursuit. Three days later, Donna begins a new life alongside Diana, while the reformed Minotaur becomes the embassy's chef. But their peace is short-lived when Ares appears and reveals that he has been manipulating conflicts from the shadows, setting the stage for a much greater battle to come.
