After Queen Hippolyta’s death, Themyscira faces an identity crisis. Diana returns to mourn her mother and support the newly crowned Queen Nubia, but instead finds herself caught in a cold war between fractured Amazon tribes, divine silence, and rising militant sentiment. Meanwhile, Circe, long exiled, manipulates the grief-stricken Bana-Mighdall sect through their queen Faruka, convincing them that Themyscira’s pacifism has made them weak. As Nubia struggles to hold her council together and preserve Amazon unity, Circe’s plan unfolds: a new war, born from Amazon blood, to reclaim the homeland and recast its future in her image. Diana must navigate divided loyalties, ancient secrets, and the cost of leadership.
