Synopsis

After Logan finds out that S.H.I.E.L.D has been taken over by HYDRA, 10 years before the events of Captain America 2, he turns to heavy drinking ever after Nick Fury fires him, 21 years later Captain America, Bucky and Scarlet Witch go to investigate a new superhero team called Alpha Flight, meeting them at a press conference, however, Logan is also there recognising the teams mentor, he reluctantly teams up with Captain America and the others to figure out who Alpha Flight really are.

Description of Wolverine (James Logan Howlett):

After Logan recognises the "Nick Fury type" in Alpha Flight as Professor Thorton the other co-founder of Weapon X, however, when he goes to the press conference he meets Bucky Barnes, he then goes into a fit of rage and try's to kill Bucky, Sam convinces Logan to join their investigation into Alpha Flight but only if he gets to kill Bucky which he accepts. At the end, however, Logan forgives him.
