Geralt is a witcher - a mercenary monster slayer. Ciri is the heir to the throne of Cintra, a country which was conquered by the Nilfgaard. At the same time, her fate is strangely intertwined with the fate of Geralt, who takes on the role of her guardian and teaches her what he himself knows - sword fighting. The series is based on a series of novels by Polish fantasy writer- Andrzej Sapkowski.
