The film tells the story of Xavier Simms ( *me* ), a 30-year-old single man who works in the real estate company of Nicky Cole (Matthew Broderick), where he is in charge of company public relations. Lewis (Nia Long) went to cooperate with a real estate agent and begins to distrust that Mr. Simms is single because he is "quite a lady", as he himself says, but she does not understand gentlemen, and Simms's attitudes surprise her.
