The issue depicts Reed Richards becoming Big Brain (and later Mister Fantastic) due to his high intelligence, Sue Storm becoming Ultra Woman (with similar powers as Mister Fantastic) due to her pliable personality, Ben Grimm becoming Dragonfly due to his love of flying, and Johnny Storm becoming Mandroid (with a metallic body) due to his fascination with mechanical things.

There have been many reboots of Batman and Superman, although each adaptation is usually unique in its own way. In order to keep adaptations different from each other, as well as different enough from the comics (but of course, keeping things people like about the characters and storylines), which comics, movies (superhero and non-superhero; they can be other superheroes' movies), shows, novels, etc. should inspire an adaptation of a particular character or the comics of a franchise?
