After the events of book one, Quinn and Oliver now have to cope with the aftermath as well as convincing Evelyn's family to believe that there's a parasite using her as a host. Quinn and Oliver team up with a trusted member of Evelyn's family and have to figure out a way to save Evelyn before it's too late --- or before it gets them killed.
