Ed Calagan is a successful former director of big-budget action films. But soon, he loses all his inspiration, beginning a long period of professional inactivity. Her superiors noticing that he no longer brings in any money for production, decide to dismiss her. Ed becomes depressed and when he tries to commit suicide, Max, an attacker kidnaps him hoping to exchange him for a large sum of money. But it is while making a phone call to Ed's wife that Max realizes that he has kidnapped a loser who is no longer worth anything and whom no one wants. Max tries to abandon his victim but the latter, having nowhere to go and no one to love him, decides to follow his attacker. Max tries to get rid of Ed who encumbers him in his criminal business but Ed does not let go of the case, he is determined to pursue Max to the end of the world because this one gives him inspiration to make a film about Max's life. But soon, Calagan finds himself embroiled in the unhealthy story of Max, whose skin is lacking in all the mafia bosses in the city !
