Push Th' Little Daisies is a biographical drama directed by Richard Linklater, chronicling the formative years of the cult rock band Ween. Set between 1985 and 1993, the film captures the raw, unfiltered beginnings of Aaron Freeman (Gene Ween) and Mickey Melchiondo Jr. (Dean Ween) as they evolve from teenage misfits in New Hope, Pennsylvania, into the boundary-pushing musical duo that would redefine alternative rock. The film offers an intimate, minimalist portrait of friendship, creativity, and the birth of Ween’s signature “brown” sound.
