Silverstream is a silver-and-black tabby she-cat with blue eyes. Silverstream was a RiverClan warrior under Crookedstar's leadership in the forest territories. Silverkit was born to Crookedstar and Willowbreeze alongside her sisters, Minnowkit and Willowkit, though she was the only kit to survive after her mother and sisters died due to greencough. Sunfish took her in as if she were her own, and she gained two adopted sisters: Vixenkit and Grasskit, and later Whitekit. She was apprenticed as Silverpaw, and after becoming a warrior, Silverstream fell in love with a ThunderClan warrior, Graystripe, after she saved him from nearly drowning in an icy river. The two often met in secret, much to the displeasure of Mistyfoot, Leopardfur, and Fireheart. After she became pregnant with Graystripe's kits, however, their bond only became closer, but Silverstream soon died of blood loss during her kitting. This left their children, who would later be named Stormfur and Feathertail, without a mother. Graystripe initially kept his and Silverstream's children in ThunderClan, but he soon relocated to RiverClan in an attempt to keep Stormkit and Featherkit within their mother's Clan, RiverClan. After ascending to StarClan, she participated in the leadership ceremonies for Leopardstar, Firestar, and Mistystar, giving all three leaders one of their nine lives. Silverstream is also the cat to visit her son, Stormfur, and tells him that he must return to the Tribe of Rushing Water to help them. She later reunited with Feathertail after her daughter gave her life to save the Tribe, and she welcomes her daughter to StarClan. After Feathertail's passing, the two StarClan she-cats sit together and watch over Crowpaw during his warrior ceremony. Silverstream was proud when Graystripe found a new mate, Millie, and reunited with him during the battle against the Dark Forest. Silverstream later joined StarClan during their mission to the Dark Forest, and she was present during the defeat of Ashfur. After Graystripe's death as a result of the overall conflict, she and Feathertail reunited with him, although both she-cats appeared unwelcoming to his affection towards his last mate, Millie.
