Story Plot

War Machine is now the new co-leader of the reformed Avengers in the aftermath of New Avengers and Avengers Endgame. Causing him to take time to think and try to go back to his roots by returning to his hometown of Detroit. Little does Rhodey know that not all is well in Motor City. It all changes when Colonel Rhodes comes across a girl genius who owes a great debt to a powerful drug runner setting the Great American Hero down the path of a conspiracy that leads all the way to the top of the US Military.

    @jmontgomery Oh ok. I would have personally picked Hawkeye, Doctor Strange, or Black Panther over Sam, but he isn't a bad choice.

    @jmontgomery And, like Falcon he's also a sidekick left in behind by their partners. And politically speaking it seems weird to have a ruler of a foreign country to be leader an organization not affiliated with any specific country without questions being asked.
