Spikeguard is the great-great-great-great-great-great-nephew of Dredd, and one of the strongest and mightiest in his bloodline. It’s because of Dredd that Mobius fights as one planet against the Ancients, which is inspiring for Spikeguard, and feels honored to be fighting alongside Dredd’s old friend Chaos, even if the traitor of the Ancients can and will outlive him and his grandsons. He is a seasoned chief seeing many great battles with the Ancients. But nothing could prepare him or his tribe for Black Doom’s army. He sacrificed himself by standing in between Devil Doom, and Chaos, his tribe, & Thornshield. He went down the gullet of Devil Doom willingly and died a glorious death.
