From his childhood in New Rochelle, New York, in 1906 of San Francisco earthquake to the creations of Woody Woodpecker, Andy Panda, and the horse named Sugarfoot to his death on March 22, 1994 in Burbank, California, after the 1994 Northridge earthquake.
