Eddie Brock is a journalist and former Marine in San Francisco,who has had a rough time.His girlfriend broke up with him,he also finds out the he has an highly aggressive form of Cancer.And he loses his reputation when Dr.Carlton Drake,the CEO of the Life Foundation,turns the media against Eddie when he is close to exposing the Life Foundation for experimenting on the homeless and civillians who sign up for their program and don't come back. One fateful night,an alien ship crashes,and Brock is bonded with an alien symbiote,which grants him extraordinary powers,and allows Eddie to become a creature known as Venom.But the Life Foundation has plans for Eddie and Venom.They find Cletus Kasady,a serial killer and bond him with a red symbiote and turns him into Carnage.
