After the death of the Rawn family, their sole heir, Vaine Jr., had disappeared from the public eye for years. He had reopened the Foundation, now focusing on rehabilitation programs for orphans. Vaine Jr. was still obsessed with finding the culprit, so much so that he decided to have each child, trained in forced obedience, psychologically bend them, under the guise of molding them. Some were forced into isolation for days, others humiliated or manipulated unless they became complicit in his motives of revenge.
