A veteran monster hunter from a renowned French monster hunting clan famous for killing the legendary Beast of Gévaudan. During his career, he joined Krsnik, a secret monster-hunting organization established under Napoleon to investigate supernatural phenomena and eliminate dangerous creatures. As age diminished his abilities, Raoul retired from hunting and eventually became homeless in London. One December night, vampires seeking revenge attacked him, but a young orphan named Abel intervened and helped defeat them. Recognizing Abel’s extraordinary abilities and troubled circumstances, Raoul took him under his wing, becoming his mentor and foster father. He taught Abel how to track, fight, and kill vampires while helping him control his unusual powers. Through his guidance, Abel grows from an isolated child into a trained vampire hunter.
