(Secondary Antagonist / Heir to Gilles de Rais's Bloodline / Gilles de Rais's Personal Assassin)
Role added by @theonewithda_gun on October 10, 2026
A vampire who inherited the bloodline of Gilles de Rais, created through Gilles de Rais’s experiments and serves as his father’s personal assassin. Raised in confinement and subjected to painful experiments, he grew to resent Gilles for treating him as an experimental subject rather than a son. Publicly, Mael presents himself as a cheerful, polite gentleman and Martin Lavalley’s son, concealing his true nature. In reality, he is a sadistic, narcissistic sociopath responsible for numerous murders and disappearances. He enjoys tormenting the helpless yet cheats, ambushes, or retreats when facing stronger opponents. Although intelligent and technologically skilled, his bloodlust and impulsiveness undermine his judgment. He despises Gilles’s hypocrisy, dreams of killing him, and resents Cain Rosenberg, whose success as a dhampir makes him a rival.
