Inspired by a Lithuanian folktale included by Andrew Lang in his book “The Violet Fairy Book”
In this version two princes and a Princess lose their stepsister when they are out on a ride. They must save their stepsister from a menacing dragonlord. Along the way they meet many wild beasts, including a trio of wolves who become their constant traveling companions. read more

Description of The Great Wolf:
Mother of Sylvain, Clover and Pietro. A legendary giant Wolf who gives her life fighting the dragon. After saving Jarek, Danica, and Leo, she begs them to look after her young. They oblige.
