Sheriff of Bellweather County Diane grew up in Bellweather, the daughter of a volunteer firefighter and a high-school counselor. She developed a strong sense of community responsibility early in life. After graduating high school, she attended a California state university and studied criminal justice before entering law enforcement. She spent years as a patrol officer and detective before becoming undersheriff and eventually winning the sheriff's election. She's been married to Daniel for more than two decades and raised their daughter, Sophie, while simultaneously building her career. To the town, She represents stability.
